If your animal is in danger, call us immediately. We guide you over the phone and prepare for its arrival.
Signs that cannot wait
- Difficulty breathing, blue or white gums
- Bleeding that will not stop
- Ingested toxin (chocolate, rat poison, medication, plants)
- Accident, fall, deep bite
- Swollen hard belly, retching without vomiting
- Seizures, loss of consciousness
- Unable to urinate (especially male cats)
- Labour that has stalled
In the meantime
- Keep your animal calm and warm
- Do not give food or human medication
- Note the time and what was ingested or happened
- Transport safely in a carrier or blanket
